What happens when you delete 2,493,652 files

That is the question isn’t it?

I deleted my Time Machine files, just for the fun of it (couldn’t reformat the drive had to much other info on it). Mac Pro 2.66 w/ 4gb RAM 1.25 tb of storage.

Paperless Update

Well I have been utilizing the paperless office approach for quite some time. One new twist to my set up that I have added though is scanning catalogs. Being in the property management business I get a lot of catalogs, that are mostly worthless. But it seems every time I throw one out I wish I hadn’t because there was something that I need from it, and I can’t find it online.

Well I now have started to cut the catalogs down the spine and scan them in. I label the PDF with the date of the catalog and name. Presto, takes very little storage space and I always have it. Also keeps me from having to scan through them before I throw them away. Now I file and be done with it!
